Pablo Salvadó was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1978. He currently lives in Colombia.
Artist Statement
...falling was only the ascent towards the depths... Paul Celan
My pictorial work aims at reflecting the human condition and its intimate shifts, desires, illusions and relationship with chaos. What lies within the unconscious and the archetypical figures are a great part of my expressive motor.
In my work, the emotional subtext functions as the backbone that sustains that universe which, in my eyes, may seem clearer than in my apparent surroundings.
Pigment and movement are the messengers in this quest, and my destiny is to capture it with the force of a storm in search of freedom.
